Neither of us had picked up a pencil or brush since our college
days. Our dream was to live the life of the artist, on a farm,
making lots of money selling our pictures.…true children of the
60’s. That was almost 50 years ago and real life is what
happens while you’re busy making plans for the future.

Somewhere in the late 80’s we opened an advertising agency
where we worked side by side every day for 28 years. We are
now more or less retired and living happily on Spring Island,
South Carolina and have once again picked up our brushes
and pencils to lose ourselves for hours in our passion…art.

Russ’ interests are in landscapes, figures and semi-abstract
color studies working in oils and mixed media.

Lenore loves portraiture and character studies working in color
pencil, oils and watercolor. Lenore studied with Eddie Niño in
Connecticut. He continues to mentor her via the internet.

We asked our grandson Russell to add his work to our family
portfolio. He has developed a perceptive eye for imagery at the
ripe, old age of 14. We are very proud of him. His work
here uses his trusted (and busted up) iPhone 5. He is now
honing his skills with a Canon SLR.

Enjoy and thanks for visiting.
